Re: 97 vaccume booster

It stalls while driving down the road randomly. put her in neutral and it starts back up like nothing happened. it will be fine for a week or two then for several days the check engine light comes on and during that time its a free for all for stalling. and just as it came it goes away.. i will try to find my other post

Re: 97 vaccume booster

At minimum I'd start with getting the history codes read.

Re: 97 vaccume booster

All the history codes are TPS. the shop tried getting it for two weeks to stall and be able to pull the code immediately.but couldnt, and when it would stall we would get it right there and again its the Throttle Position sensor (which has already been replaced). They checked and it is functioning properly. Its a good shop and they work on all my cars but this has them stummped

Re: 97 vaccume booster

Well she stalled six times yesterday, all at various points in driving. We will see how it runs today.. probably going to be just fine for another 2 weeks or so. what boggles me is that it just stops running.. no hesisitation or anything its almost like you turned the key off while driving down the road.. We were actually able to get it started while driving even before it finished its "ding ding ding"
