Re: Rim Opinions?

I like the wheels, but we have no idea what your car looks like. You need to post up some pics of your whip.

Exclamation Re: Rim Opinions?

I suppose a pic of the car would of been a good idea, lol, but yea this is it. Its actually obviously red, but im not sure if i want to keep it that way. My friend is actually selling me his saturn for $200, theres nothing wrong with it engine wise, and it has a brand new clutch, he just got sick of it and up and bought a Audi, so i said i would take it, which gives me the perfect opportunity to park my eclipse over the winter and to start ripping it apart. My goal is to try and have it ready for some shows next year. Heres the mods list if anyones interested.

-Put the new AEM V2 CAI on
-Put NGK Plugs In
-Bored out TB
-New wires
-New exhaust (header back) - Megan Racing
-Racing Seats & Harnesses
-Custum trunk layout
-18 inch 5Zigen FN01R-C 's wrapped it Toyo Proxies
-Body Kit
-Inside & Underglow Neon
-Halo Headlights
-Aztellia Taillights
-New Paint Job (Probably Blue)
-Paint Valve Cover & Other Engine Parts
-Carbon Fiber Hood
-Aftermarket Fog Lights
-Strut Braces (Front & Back)
-New Shocks & Springs/lower 2 inches (Toxico)

I think thats most if not all of my list, any thoughts or comments would be very appreciated.....

Re: Rim Opinions?

The wheels are nice, but I'm used to seeing them on cars that reflect the look of the late '80s to early '90s. I'm sure they'll still look good on a 2nd gen DSM though. Have you thought about maybe 17 inch rims instead?

Yea i have, but i think that 17's would just look too small.

Re: Rim Opinions?

I like the color scheme on those rims, but I'm not a fan of thin-spoked wheels. Actually, rickyrickster25, I like spokes to be as thick as about the ones in your avatar. But there's no doubt these'll look nice on you ride anyway, can't fail with the black rim/polished lip combo.

Re: Rim Opinions?

I agree, i have always thought the black rim with the chrome lip as a very nice looking rim. Not sure what to go with tho, 17's or 18's.....
