1982 Toyota Supra/Celica

Ok, I thought I posted this, but it didn't go through!!!!!!!!!!!

I was sort of interested in this kit,
http://www.1999.co.jp/asp/GoodsDetai...right102_e.asp
and was wondering if any one here has seen, have, or built it? Is the quality any good? I've never bought a car from this company before and wanted to hear from you guys first.

Also, which is a better buy, the Toyota 1600GT from Hasegawa, or the one from Aoshima? Or anyways, which would you think would be better quaility wise?

Thanks,
Malcolm

Here's a Hasegawa Celica 1600GT
http://www.hlj.com/cgi-local/hljpage.cgi?HSGHC12

The Arii is curbside...HLJ has some info
http://www.hlj.com/cgi-local/hljpage.cgi?ARI21155

This one is from Fujimi, if you can find it. It has engines and everything. The best one if you ask me. Yes I've seen it in person.

Thanks guys,
Nice car Lownslow, the spoiler is a little to extreme for me, but the color is nice.
Say, Henry, what do you think of this? http://www.hlj.com/cgi-local/hljpage.cgi?FUJ04026 I was looking at it for a while, actually I'm pretty sure that Lownslow has the same model.

Lownslow, what did you think of the kit? How's the quality?

All I know about this one is that it's curbside and the usual Fujimi quality~

Hey if you buy it and don't like it let me know and I might take it off your hands.

In fact, if anyone else has old Toyota car models that are taking up space let me know. I'm a big Toyota Fan.

Shouldn't it be the same quality as the one with the engine? Just like the Toyota Supra Turbo A, they had a version with an engine as well, all you had to do was cut out the bonnet and it included extra parts. Do you know what engine it had?

And last, do you know if they make any 1/24 scale 4AGE motors?

*edit* The engine for the Celica XX, do you know the code?

The MA60 supra have 5MGE inline 6 engines. I think there were other engines, but I'm not to sure.

Correction Jay, that's a 4AGZE engine in the AW11 MR2, because it's supercharged, hence the "Z". And that's the only 1/24 scale 4AG engine in any form. If you're hoping to fit it into the fujimi AE86, it'll take quite a bit of work. I'm gonna be making a Levin and a Trueno with full engine detail sometime next year with scratch build 4AGs in them. And I already copied the specs off an AW11 model:coolguy: hehehe

Since
a. It's transversely mounted
b. it's only the engine cover, since that's all you could see on an AW11 anyways...

Great minds think alike! Well I was considering it, and came to the conclusion that.... well I didn't go that far, but still considering it! I mean the last car I finished(civic ferio) was a curbside, and I wanted to make my little Levin more detailed, I already "started" to hook up LEDs, but I need small enough white ones to fit in the front! And would it be worth paying for the car just for the engine? Unless someone has one lying around their house that they don't plan to use.......

Anyways what do you guys think I would be better off getting from HLJ, The Toyota Supra Turbo A, or the Toyota Celica/Supra XX?? I'm kinda leaning toward the celica/supra at the moment!

Aren't the Supra A and the Celica/Supra XX of different generation?
