My guess would be no. The 2.0 is a dual over head cam while the 1.8 is single over head cam. I don't see the block and head lining up at all.

Re: will it fit???

The 1.8 block is the SAME as the 2.0 block. The 1.8 is SOHC well the 2.0 is DOHC, the 1.8 is a 4G37 the 2.0 is 4G63. Look it up, its the same block, turst me I no everyone told me I couldn't install a 2.0 into a 1.8 frame because the motor mounts were not the same (turns out its the SAME block as the 1.8). Just look it up, there will be ALOT of work to make it work, but the 2.0 will install right onto the 4G37.

Re: will it fit???

Well the 1.8 is 1775cc and the 2.0 is 1997cc. I didn't take too much time to look it up, but I read one article that said they were the same block just with a different bore. If you've already done it, then obviously its possible. I stand corrected.

I was not aware of this either. This is good info to know.

Did you do the install and if so, what extra work did you have to do? Since you seem to know the most about the 1.8 to 2.0 swap can you enlighten the rest of us so we don't spread bad info anymore?
