i have a problem that i just cant figure out

i have a 92 firebird that just all of the sudden shut down. i was told to change the ignition switch but still nothing. the lights work but when u turn the key the is no power from the ignition anybody that could i would greatly appreciate it

When you changed out the ignition lock switch did you have the new keys made with the same resistance code as the ECM is set to ?

If not --- you will have to have keys made with the correct code otherwise VATS will shut down everything
