Accelerates Like Shit Till 3000 rpm

Iunno what the problem is i know for sure it needs an oil change, but thats about it, on the drive home it flew but i took it out the other night, took off slowly then floored it and it jsut cruised, when it hit 3000 rpms tho it started to fly anyone know what it could be

i had it up on the hoist like 4 days ago and thurr was no hole in the exhaust and i dont think that the oil change could cause that so im stumped righ tnow

You could have a piece of catalytic converter material broken off and free in your exhaust, if one of those pieces turns sideways it makes so much backpressure it's disgusting. Try shaking the exhaust pipe and listen for a rattle.
