Question rear struts

hi can anyone help me out. i am trying to put my rear strut in and i am having problems with auxiliary damper i need to compress it in order to put my strut on. Is there any way i could this plz help

I know this is a bit of an old post, and I'm assuming you got your struts in, but you must be talking about that super PITA rubber damper in the rear end by the transverse spring. Normally, a 3" or so bolt comes with new struts for these models that you put into the damper to clamp it down and hold it there before you remove the strut. If you didn't do that, a clamp of some sort is your only option. Have fun with that one.
