dropping heat shield
How do I drop the heat shield for an '03 Cavalier. The screws the connect it to the vehicle looks like an alum wrench would go in them but its completely round (not stripped). Do they just pop out?

Re: dropping heat shield
Which heat shield? The one on the exhaust manifold or the one that runs under the vehicle?

Re: dropping heat shield
The shield under the vehicle is usually riveted in place.

Re: dropping heat shield
i think he is talking about the plastic radiator cover. if so, all you have to do it pull the small round plastic top and the whole thing should come out. a screwdriver is what i use, until they broke, so i just took mine off.
