Short Shifter
I got a short shifter for my 1997 Eclipse GST and when i was taking the stock one out a spring popped out of no where and i don't know where it goes...When i am in any gear my shifter seems like it is in neutral so i know that it is for the shifter. Thanks

This is on a 1g, which is a little different, but the concept is still the same. You want to make sure that part of the spring thats sticking up is on the correct side. It should have tension on it. If it's on the wrong side then it won't return to the middle, while in neutral, on its own.
