Power steering squeel
Hey everyone. 2002 Elantra...power steering squeels so loud it is embarrassing. Belt is new and is from Hyundai, drive pulley is new and from Hyundai, power steering pump is new also. I have tightened it to the point where I am afraid it is going to break, yet it still squeels. I have sprayed belt dressing on it, yet it still squeels. Everything was fine till I decided to change all the belts at the same time, ever since then, it squeels. Any ideas why?? Thanks for your help!

Re: Power steering squeel
pulley bearings are tight????
do you at least know what is a bearing? I'm saying that one of the bearing inside a pulley could be dead. Also I know belts are tight you mentionned it but I was asking if the squeals might be comming from the alternator? |
