Coolant Temperature Sensor?
OK, I know I posted SOMETHING about this in my last thread, but it turns out to be unrelated to the sensors I replaced (Crank and Cam sensors)
It WONT fire up on the first cranking sequence ever when cold, or after sitting 4 or more hours, and sometimes not on the 2nd, but even when it does on the 2nd it fires up too quickly, almost feels like a jack-rabbit start, I've had a few people hint at the Coolant Temp. Sensor, anyone second that notion, or if not, what are your guesses? |

Re: Coolant Temperature Sensor?
Check your fuel pressure when cold and when you try to first start. you could have a leak and it takes time to build up pressure.

Re: Coolant Temperature Sensor?
Tried it. 40 psi throughout. no visible leaks or smells either.

Re: Coolant Temperature Sensor?
The leak could be internal, back to tank. Do you have fuel pressure before you crank the engine ? While cranking the engine ?

Re: Coolant Temperature Sensor?
yeah, I checked the pressure before and during cranking, and it remains at 40 psi.

Re: Coolant Temperature Sensor?
Check to see if you have spark on the first crank.
