The 1.8 motor will never be fast. It doesn't matter what you do to it. I think you may be able to drop in a turbo motor pretty easily. That would be the best option if you trying to build a fast car. That or either sell it and buy a gsx or something.

If you want exhaust on it, go with 2 1/4". No they do not make dual exhaust for these cars.

Re: what type of Exhaust on a 92 eclips

Step 1) Obtain a minimum of 5 gallons of gas, a crow bar, and a lighter
Step 2) Dress up in an all black outfit and ski mask
Step 3) Drive to a rough area of town
Step 4) Smash all windows and bang up the body pretty good
Step 5) Empty gas on/around car
Step 6) Light the bitch up
Step 7) Report car stolen
Step 8) Collect insurance
Step 9) Get a decent platform for a car

Nah dude, dont do that (and if you do I am not going to be held responsible) but in all honesty you picked a pretty bad platform to make fast. As mentioned above, you should just buy a GST, GSX, TSi, or TSi AWD.

Yeah man, the 1.8 is completely hopeless when it comes to speed, but they are reliable. Keep it, and save up for your next car.
