Question about clear Tamiya Motorcycle cowlings
Hi,
My wife is building her first motorcycle. Its the Tamiya Honda NSR250 Repsol bike. The cowlings are molded in clear plastic. The instructions say to paint them the body color. Are these intended to give the builder the option of leaving them clear? Have any of you guys done this, or do you just paint them like any other plastic? Also, do all Tamiya cowlings come clear? Thanks, Johnny

Re: Question about clear Tamiya Motorcycle cowlings
Yes it's intended to allow the builder to leave them clear - not all kits come with clear cowlings.
Personally, I always paint them.
