I pulled on a wire I shouldn't have, need some help please
So I'm doing a set for headers on my buddies 95 SS, and we decided to do plugs and wires at the same time. It's easier to get pretty much any header out without the plugs in. And since we wanted to throw in plugs and wires, I started grabbing for plugs wires not caring what happend to them. I felt heat shielding, thought it was for the plugs since it was pretty big in diameter and pulled. Wasn't a pulg wire. I can't seem to really find out where the where came from short of tearing everything apart. It's a small guage green wire that is about the middle fo the block and about the hieght of the control arm on the passenger side. Any help would be great guys.
Did find out it is the knock sensor. Just can't seem to find where it came from Last edited by boosted67; 09-20-2007 at 04:24 PM. |

There are 2 knock sensors, located low in the engine block, just above the oil pan rail, between the center two cylinders on the driver's side and passenger's sides.

Yeah, it ened up being the temp sending unti. It was covered by heat shield and made it kinda difficult to find where the wire came from. Thanx
