2000 Rodeo. slipping transmission
I have a 2000 Rodeo and the transmission is slipping when it is in 1st gear. It is a AT and was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. it is a 4wd rodeo with 126000 miles. thanks matt

Maintenance history?? When/how often is the fluid/filter changed?
What's your volt gauge read at normal operation?

AND...
what do you mean by 'slipping'. or are you talking about the trans going into 'limp mode', which means it starts off in 4th, not 1st, and so may appear to be slipping...but the rpms do not exceed the driving speed, i.e. the engine isn't over reving limp mode happens from electrical/electronic anomolies, most often charging system problems. //bc
