Question lighting upgrades...anyone experienced

I'm entering the vw world for the first time. I just got a black '95 jetta III, and I'm gonna install a HID conversion kit. Anyone know how to disable the daytime running lights? Also if I choose to upgrade to a Golf III-style set of headlights, do I just swap my hood with a Golf hood or is it a drawn-out ordeal?

You need a European headlight switch.

Swap the lights, grille and hood. But you can save som bucks and buy a hood extension

A "bad boy look" hood extension, I think Mattig makes one that will look almost like a stock Golf hood.

And GTi-VR6_A3, you need a SLC

I don't know if a 'rrado is the right chioce for you, but people are starting to chop up driveble cars. So if you can save one, the rest of us is happy

But seriously, I love mine. There is nothing seriously wrong with it. All I have done is change the motor mounts. and the only thing the PO did was change the sunroof.
If you have the money, buy one and have fun. If you don't have the money, buy a messed up one, fix it, and have fun.

Like I said, cash.
And it's no GTi, not that many people know what it is.
Expensive and hard to get more power out of the VR6.
The chance of getting a lemon is high, too many people have spent way to much blood, sweat and tears trying to fix a Corrado.
