The speedo your looking at will fit it. Anything from a civic, or crx for those years will fit.

Re: 91 crx Si speedometer swap....

Just make sure you get a 90-91 cluster from an LX EX, or Si if you want to retain the tachometer. Also, if from an LX or EX, the cluster has additional stuff in it for Cruise Control, so you'd have another idiot light that probably wouldn't work.

The DX (sedan) did not have a tach.

Edited to fix my error with the years...thanks Frodo..i don't know what i was thinking.

If your speedometer went out, why don't you just replace the speedo cable and call it a day; it's most likely your problem. Did you even check to see if the cable came out of the tranny or back of the cluster? I'd do that first.

Re: 91 crx Si speedometer swap....

You MUST must must, have the cluster from 90-91, 88-89 have different wiring. However you can convert them, its a pain in the ass. So if you have a 91 your gonna need one from 90-91.

Re: 91 crx Si speedometer swap....

Thank you Frodo. There is another topic on here about the tach clusters....its a lot easier to stick to the same years ranges when it comes to anything interior wise. The 88-89 had a smaller interior than the 90-91...I know, I have gotten a few 88-89 pieces and ended up with a big gap because they were too small.
