Does anyone know anything about the 5AFE engine

I just picked up a 91 st. The new motor will be here Friday its a factory reconditioned JDM 5Afe. I was told its a 1.5 stock at 130HP and 110TQ. I am installing a t3/4 hybrid on it, intercooled with a fuel pressure regulator. I cant find anything for this motor though. My plan was to run this motor while I built up a 3sgte but I would like to do some stuff to this one.

Also are parts from the 5A interchangable with the 4A or the 5E?
This whole engine sucks. It seems like unless you speak japanese you cant find out anything on it.

Re: Does anyone know anything about the 5AFE engine

5A-FE makes 110hp.

The best motor from a 91 would be the 3S-GTE, but it was rare.

the standard old 5S-FE was the engine of choice for the Celica in 91.

The parts are not interchangeable
