that would work fine. and your subs are only 400wrms for the pair. dont buy an amp to match the max wattage. that specific jbl puts out 300@4ohms or 600@2ohms. since your subs are dual 4's, and the amp is a monoblock, you only have one option. wire the coils parallel and then from the box terminals in series... this way maintaining a 4ohm load. if you parallel the coils and the terminals, that will bring it down to 1ohm, and unless i missed a spec somewhere, the bp600.1 isnt 1ohm stable. therefore you'll be pushing 300w to a pair of subs with a 400wrms. if anything i'd assume the jbl is underrated, so just play with the gain to get desired output.
btw, you dont have to post a new topic with every reply. but no biggie. hope my babbling was of some help.

The JBL 600.1 is 1 ohm stable, the only thing is that you will not get anymore power running it in 1 ohm compared to 2. At 2 or 1 Ohm the amp will be giving at least 600 RMS. The JBL Amps have been proven to be underrated. I have a 600.1 to power 2 Adire Audio Shivas and it works great!

Yes, the amp is one ohm stable for a burp, not play music on. One ohm played daily would just cause the amp to clip.
