1975 firebird rust

I might be buying a 1975 firebird and i was wondering if anyone could clue me into some problem areas i should look for if there is rust. the car does have some rust in on the rear sides. How problematic is that is there any where in paticular i should look for i know on older mustangs if there is rust in the cowl area its an expensive ordeal is there anything like that to look for? Thanks

depends how good of a deal the car is, Are you planning on fixing the rust? Any rust you wanna fix is gunna be expensive.

That pretty much means buying new panels, possibly welding new supports for everything. Getting someone to do the body work right will be the most costly. Might as well just buy a shiny one to begin with!

I own a very rusty 83 firebird and have no intention of fixing the rust at all! I figure the rust is just helping me along with the weight reduction I've been planning to do to it!!!
