95 civic auto trans problem

Uh, when i drive my civic the transmission feels like its operating in two gears at the same time. I checked the shift cable adj. and its perfect. And i also checked my brakes to make sure they weren't draging. The trans is full of fluid and has been since before the problem started. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

if you checked all the tranny how do you know its not your engine or torque converter causing the prob
