rough idle...help!!!

hello,
I just bought a 98 cavalier z24 it has 76,000 miles on it and i was told it sit for a long time. Its a 5 speed and runs great once you get it going. The problem is when you first start it and go to take off it doesn't want to run it idles real rough and when you try to give it gas it just shutters and then it will eventually rev up. after a minute or two or once you get moving the car runs great. This also happens almost everytime you shut the car off. I have tried spraying throttle body cleaner in the throttle body and also tried cleaning the IAC Valve. I have ran plus gasoline with Sea Foam through the gas. Does anybody have any ideas of what this could be?????

Re: rough idle...help!!!

Maybe try a tune-up. Plugs, wires and check your fuel pressure.
