94 firebird ac compresser not working...HELP!!!

one day my ac was not getting cold, so i put a vacume pump on it, confirmed there was no leak , and tried to recharge the system. when i did, the compresser would not kick on and it would not take the charge of freon...so i used a wire to try and start it at the low pressure switch, but it did not work. the clutch is not stuck, and all my wires running to the compresser seem fine, but when i checked it at the compresser, i was only geting .3 volts and 1.5 ohms with the car running. i have checked fuses and they look ok...what can i do to get this thing working???
