Question Brake job on a 97 Hyundai Accent

Help, I am trying to do a front brake job on my 97 Hyundai Accent. I have done brake on other cars over the years. I cannot get the rotor off. What am I doing wrong? This is usually a pretty easy job.

Are there two phillips screws next to the studs? If so, undo them. Then there should be two holes for a bolt to be threaded into, next to the studs as well, right? Use a long bolt, and thread it into the holes.

I'm assuming that you have the caliper out of the way, etc?

I don't know anything specific about the design of the hyundai brake rotors. Based on previous experience with tough-to-remove rotors on other vehicles, I have the following to add to what was said above:

If you absolutely can't get the screws out (stripped the slots, etc), drill them until you take the tapered heads off (but only go as deep as you have to). Then whack the rotor with a mallet until it vibrates loose. Grip the remaining portions of the screws with vise grips, and twist them out. Replace them with new ones when you put the new rotors on (that's why you're taking them off, right?), but dab some disc brake grease on the new screws before you put them in, and don't torque them very tight at all. Those screws are only there to keep the rotors in place until you get the tires on (they're not all that important).

If you're in the unfortunate situation of having rotors that are mounted from behind the hub assy (as in the honda accord), then the above doesn't really apply.

Will the long bolt trick work with the rotor being behind the hub?
