1993 intregra

need help with ac not working it has enough freon the switch inside is showing that is working there no power to the compresson any ideas thank u

many things can be wrong like the low pressure switch. that monitors the pressure of the freon and turns the clutch on the compressor switch on to check it unplug the 2p connector and short it if the clutch engages then the prob is the pressure switch.. make sure you short the low pressure switch then turn on the ac but are you sure you have enough freon and its compatible like r-134 or r-12 if its r-12 you cannot put r-134 in because r-12 runs at higher pressure but if your system is r-12 because factory it is then you have to retrofit it to r-134. kits are available at walmart for like 30 or so
