Another year - another calendar with a McLaren F1 image...

I saw this calendar at the store yesterday with images from Ron Kimball - one month features XP4, which certainly caught my eye.

Hmmmm...this is a pretty hard decision! i like the F1 image of the first one, but he second one has an F50 GT...

Screw making decisions - I just buy both. Actually, while I do agree the first shot of XP4 is better, I think the second calendar is significantly better overall. Heck, one of the cars on the first one is just a silly replica.

I agree completely. I stumbled upon him on the lawn at Pebble Beach last year while he was shooting the 'Best of Show' winner. I saw a pause in the action while the car was being repositioned and took the opportunity to tell him how much I truly enjoy his automotive photography. Unfortunately the situation didn't present itself for me to ask about the silver F1 he photographed - though I still suspect it may have been #068.
