Trouble at the track :(

Ok last time i was running consistant 14.3s with my fiance and a extra battary in the car*forgot the battary was in there * Ok so i put on my boost controller and turned it up to 14.5-15psi and went back thinking high to mid 13's but much to my dismay during the first pass when i would hit 5,000rpms after launch it would sound like i was redling 0.o ok tried it again then i backed to boost down to stock 12psi still doing it 0.o

Ok talk to a guy there with a Eclipse GSX 1st gen 16g 650cc Evo injectors he asked if i had stock exhuast i said for now he said it might be backing up and causing pre dotonation??

BUUUUUTTT!!!! i will admit i cheated i didn't vacum cap the one line i crimped the hose zip tied it.... so could this be my problem... Or is it predetonation OR WHAT!!!!????

Re: Trouble at the track :(

haha, good call stealthee, sorry about your diff dude!

I dont think that your exhaust would cause that, but you could always get a new downpipe and see if that fixes it, they arent that expensive, and you really dont need an aftermarket cat back.
