2000 Jeep Cherokee OVERHEATING HELP!!

I’m new to this so if I have posted this in the wrong forum or wrong place I apologize in advance…I’m just DESPERATELY trying to find some answers here. I own a, 2000 Jeep Cherokee. 100,000 miles mostly highway if that makes a difference about 1 year ago I started to have Rusty sludge in radiator,,, you could scoop it out with a spoon. I replaced the radiator, and problem went away for about 6 months then rusty sludge came back. I have since replaced the water pump, heater core and thermostat, had entire system power flushed twice. Head gasket has been tested twice not blown...Now Jeep goes from cold start zero (100) TO 210 WITH IN 2-5 MINUTES of starting completely overheats within 5 -10 miles of driving...have been told that (A) I need a new radiator (AGAIN) or that (B) The ports in the head are clogged (from sludge) thus not allowing the coolant to flow through the head which is why it is heating up so fast (so I've been told) and that the head needs to be taken out milled and new head gasket replaced...anyone have this problem???? Radiator is 1 year old and has had rusty sludge in it but has been power (not garden hose) flushed twice PLEASE HELP. ANY ADVICE IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

The sludge is one problem that oculd be overheating the motor. But if you have flushed it and it still overheats, then you may want to look at the thermostat, or the clutch on the cooling fan.

Sludge Gone( Power Flushed Twice In 2 Weeks) Thermostat Has Been Replaced Fans Work I Have Been Told That The Ports In The Head Are Clogged And That Is Why Jeep Is Overheating So Fast No Coolant Going Through The Head. Have You Ever Heard Of This Before? Thanks

It's very likely that's what's happening, you've had it power flushed twice so likely if something is blocking the passages in the head then it was jammed in place by the power flushing. Try running a bottle of coolant system cleaner through it and see if that breaks up the sludge and then flush it out again.

just for grins. take your thermostat out.
ive ran mine without a thermostat for years now.
most will say you get poor gas milage and rough idle,
but as far as im concerned it runs fine.
But i Live in PNW. Rarely gets above 90 degrees

if you do this, need to hook aux fan up to toggle switch incase you get stuck in traffic
