Seat Belt problem
I have a 2000 Jimmy SLE 4.3L. The driver's seat belt started giving me problems. The red release button recesses down into the buckle housing when you insert the tang into it, and stays down. The belt seems to hold when you pull on it, but, on the other buckles, the red button pops back up with a click and stays flush with the top of the housing. I haven't had time to really look into it yet. Anyone else have this problem, or better yet a fix?

Re: Seat Belt problem
Rick,
I have seen that before. From a safety/liability standpoint, rather than fool with it, I just replaced it. Chuck |

Re: Seat Belt problem
Can't recall the price of the part, but to replace it, depending on the vehicle, is usually one torx bolt.
