Smile alternator question.

i have a 89 crx si. can i pull a alternator from other hondas that will fit my crx if so does anyone know what models? civic,prelude?accord?

any help would be great thanks.

Pretty much anything sohc, except the d16z6. Also youll want it to be obd-0, I believe all of the 90-93 integras and 88-91 civic/crxs SI and hf are what your looking for.

Actually shit lol. I thought you said distributor. Yeah in the case of an alternator anything sohc obd0 or 1 should do you just fine, I used an obd-1 alternator from a 93 civic and it worked great once, except that I got it free from the junkyard and it was DOA.
