No Constant power in new stereo

Hello all, I'm really hoping someone can help me out and possibly give me some instruction to fix this problem. I recently installed a new CD Player in my car, everything is connected as it should be,(I bought the wiring kit), the CD player works great however I have no constant power, therefore my presets don't work as well as my clock. Does anyone have any suggestions or has run into this problem before??

Re: No Constant power in new stereo

The oem radio has two main power wires. one is for clock/preset/memory functions and is orange. the other is ignition controlled and is yellow. Check to see if you have power at the orange wire. if not, check the fuse.
