Dodgy dashboard symbol

Hi. I just bought a 306 1.9 DT and I don't have a manual. I get this strange symbol



Can any of you tell me what it means please?

hi this is the coolant low indicator once you have toped up would check for any leaks (usually water pump located on drivers side of engine).
these are sealed system so shouldn't lose any water so maybe headgasket could of failed. i'm a mechanic by trade so have done plenty of these, if this the case a cheap alternative to a large garage bill is to look for a product called K SEAL. its brilliant stuff just add to coolant no messing req. HOPE THIS HELPS

I have been told by a friend of the family who is a mechanic for peugeot
that it means water in fuel filter. It is a common fault in older 306's and I shouldn't worry about it. I checked this up on the net and it seems to be true that a lot of people have this occurence. One mechanic had even changed his fuel filter and drained any excess water and found it still to light up so ended up just disconnecting the wire which my mate has offered to do if it bugs me that much.
