Radio LOC

ok unhooked the battery on a 91 bonne SSE and now guess what. Radio is in LOC mode. Alread ycalled a dealer and they want $42 to get her unlocked which to me is TOTAL BS!

Any idea how to get the 3/6 digit code off of this or what other steps I need to take

Ahhh guess nobody has a clue like me lol

unfortunately, you will need to go to the dealer. you need the original code to unlock the system. your style bonneville uses a 6 digit code, and without it, there isnt much you can do. i know how to get to the code entry screen, but again, no code, no tunes. check in your owners manual, there might be something there.

I have done all of the obvious. There is a combination of keys that you press to get that 6 digit code and then you can call a 1-800 # for the unlock. Nobody seems to know the sequence of buttons to press or the combination of keys. AT any rate I will beg someone to explain to me how all of a sudden the damn radio started to work again WITHOUT ANY codes being inputed lol. Came home one day shut car off, ran inside house for about 2 minutes came back out started the car and BINGO BANGO, radio worked again. Ok let me here how the hell that happened lol
