B20 VTEC - risks ?
Currently i have a B18C6 (EDM version of the B18C5). Now i want to go B20 VTEC because it seems to me less expensive than a 2 Liter B18.
Now i read at http://www.b20vtec.com/b20sleeves.html that the B20 sleeves will crack sooner or later. Is this true for a daily driven car with 11.5:1 JE pistons ? Than i have read a post here, saying the B20 crank will make vibrations at higher RPM's. Is this true ? I think the B20 crank is the same as in the LS/VTEC ? And my last question: What is a "block girdle under the crank" ??? Thanks, Andre |
