Electrical problems on 95 sierra

Hello, new to this but need some answers. A while back when i was driving all my electrical items shut off, including anti lock brakes, etc. The truck would still start and run fine etc, but it seemed a good half of my fuse box was not getting power. I didnt have time to deal with it because i was in the middle of a cross country move so i hard wired some of the essentials (windshield wipers, radio, etc) so it would hold me over. Now i'm set and am looking to fix the problem. I was thinking it would be something like the ignition/switch or something but dont want to spend $115 on a "think". Anyone have any suggestions?

Re: Electrical problems on 95 sierra

A wiring diagram would help(Haynes). Start at he fuse block and check for power to the fuse and from the fuse. No power at the fuse work back to the ignition switch. Power at the fuse work toward the acc.

Hi, check behind glove box thats where all the connection are made sounds like a bad connector caused by being over loaded. I changed my ignition switch last weekend took the old one apart there fairly well biult and simple 35 dollars bougth it.
