87-93 foxbody question....

im looking to get an 87-93 mustang gt but as of right now i cant find any. i was wondering if i can buy an lx and put the gt front bumber, side skirts, and rear bumber. ive heard that it wouldnt work becuase its not the same shape. does anyone know if this will work?

as far as i know the front and rea bumper will fit. the only difference between the 2 cars is only the shape of the bumpers not the car itself. the bodies are the same even if it is a 4 cyl mustang. the only difference between a 4 cyl and an 8 is in the front suspension.
