Euro/Clear lamps-turn signals? Wood trim wheel help

Hello All,
My '96 Blk/Blk 740il was recently backed over by a Ford truck and has about 7k in front end damage on the hood and passenger side. Since it's in the shop and getting fixed, I figure I may as well get the clear corner turn signal lenses and clear side indicator lights. Can anyone point me in the direction of where to find these? I've been checking all over and don't know where to find them. May also go to the wood trim steering wheel-any thoughts on how best to get one of those or is it only via the dealerships? Thanks for the help!

The best place for the clear turn signals is one of the discount BMW dealers like Pacific BMW or Circle BMW or Crevier BMW. Also independant resellers like Bekkers.com or Zagmunt.com or Maximillion Importing would offer these as well.

The wooden steering wheels came standard on 750's so you could try a recycling yard for one but other than this then you need to use the dealer or an OEM BMW parts importer like Maximillion Importing.

One final thought for you, if your car is getting new fender(s) then you could upgrade to the "facelift" healidhgts and turn signals that come on the 99 and later E38s. This is anice upgrade to the 95-98 cars that makes them appear more up to date. The fenders and headlights and the turn signal lights change to the new style, but they are not any different in price, so you could get this for the same repair cost as the replacement of the older look parts.

Good luck
John

clears

I have found clear corner lamps and tails on E-bay. The corners were always 39.95 US when I saw them, as for the tail lamps, I have no idea as to the price, but they were available from time to time. When you go to E-bay Motors do a search for your make and model to filter out all the other listings, or you'll be there all night going through it all. I cant vouch for quality however, so use caution. Good Luck!
