Changing Doors

My window keeps jumping the track, and the door is starting to rust on the bottom, has a nice ding in it, and the piller is rusting cuasing the black paint to bubble.

Just curious if anyone here has changed the Driver's door, Wondering if its hard to do, I know i'd have to pop off the inside panel and pull the wiring out of the door and route it back into the new door, but is pulling it off the hinges a pain in the ass, and is aligning the door tough?

Re: Changing Doors

I've never done it myself but it seems like I noticed the other day that the hinges and the door frame have tabs that stick out to help align the door if need be.

Re: Changing Doors

All I'm worried about is the door latching properly, Don't need it to fly open doing 35mph... If it doesn't line up perfectly with the fender and other door, O well! Hopefully those Tabs will be helpful, I'll have to take a look at them on mine tommorow!
