Will a B series 2300 work with my 2.3l ranger
i've got a 1996 ranger with a 2.3l 140 cub. engine 160,000 on it, . Ford put a mazda tranny in it. I wanna have a spare engine because I love my truck but don't want a ford rebuild. ford no longer manufactures the 1996 2.3. I want to know if a B series 2300 mazda pickup engines will work with my ranger. go figure mazda still makes a 96.

Re: Will a B series 2300 work with my 2.3l ranger
those are mechanically one in the same truck, both are made by ford.
i dont know what year you are asking but if the mazda is a 95-97, and your ranger is a 95-97 it should work no problem.
