Air Conditioning

My AC just went out. Is this a typical problem for this car.? Seems like the compressor may have died or a very bad leak triggering the low pressure switch.

Well more information would make it easier to diagnose. First off, what year is the car? Did the AC just stop working suddenly or did it slowly loose its cooling and then stop all together? When was the last time that the AC was charged? If it went slowly, and has not been charged in a while, then it may just need to be recharged. If the compressor is not kicking on at all anymore you will need to bypass the low pressure switch by jumpering two of the wires. Then recharge it and you should be good to go. Good Luck...
