Lincoln Navi problems fuel

I have always thought my truck to be very mechanicly sound. I have driven up and down the east coast 7 times and cross country 3. 150,000 miles, and I have never had any problems until resently. I started my trip from Cali to GA., with a full tank of watered down gas. I brought 91 octain but it had been sitting for so longthe fuel had begain to settle. The truck ideled fine but when I drove over 50 mil/hr, It would shutter and the RPMs would drop. I got lean codes (P0171 and P0174).
I cost me about 10 hrs of driving time and two fuel filters to clear out that contaminated fuel. 1,900 miles and I am still experancing a slight shutter. I figured I would need to clean the fuel injectors. They may be pretty nasty from burning off that contaminated fuel. Is there anything that I might night have though about?

Sounds like you have the situation pretty well covered I run that fuel system cleaner through all my vehicles every year or so just for fun, it doesn't seem to make allot of difference but I suppose it isn't hurting anything either.
