Wheel and tire question, yes, im sorry, another.

Sorry folks, just wanted to make sure of something before i spent more money, im looking at these

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/17-AD...spagenameZWDVW

and i think they would look great on my black GP, but, Ive read some of the threads around here, I just want to make sure (because I tend to be OCD)

the specs are:
Bolt pattern : 5x100 or 5x114.3

Size : 17x7

Offset : 48mm

Will I be okay if i get them? They are only an inch bigger than the current rims, and I'll try to get a tire to keep the same overall wheel/tire diameter, but the offset is lower than the stock wheels...will I be able to do any mods like the bigger brake rotors, or am I stuck if I get wheels with a lower offset?

Thanks, this is new to me, so Im pretty lost

Personally I'd pass on them. No comments on appearance. It looks like a universal design with two sets of holes. The 5x114.3 will fit. Same bolt pattern used on Ford Mustangs but will fit our 5X115. No problems with the 17X7 wheel size either or the offset.

any reason for the pass, other than the appearance? I mean, is the multiple mounting holes a real problem, or, is it just preference/worse for the car?

I just don't like universal wheels with multiple bolt patterns. As far as appearance beauty is in the eyes of the beholder so the decision is yours.
