99 grand am horn not working help.

Hey i feel stupid but i cant get my horn working on my 99 grand am. I checked fuses and relays and there fine, i tested the horn and it worked. so the problem lies in the switch in the steering wheel. Can any one tell my how to get the airbag cover off without setting off the airbag and what tools i would need to do so? thanks for you patients, Eric
