Scraping Sound

Hello all, recently I started hearing a rotational scraping sound on my driver's side front wheel well. It's rotational, meaning the faster i'm going, the faster the sound will be, like an object scraping something else at the wheel spins.

I just had the car inspected today and everything passed, but they couldn't locate the source of the sound.

I've replaced the brakes twice since owning, but never had the rotors turned. Could this be the problem or any idea what it could be?

Your rotors could be warped having one spot that sticks out further than the rest of the rotor, this would cause a scraping sound, have them turned or replaced and see if the sound goes away.

just me, but i would almost never do a brake job without replacing at least pads and rotors. also check to see if your rotor backing plate is contacting anything while the wheel is turning. next time you do your brakes, check to see if the caliper is working correctly. when you push the piston in with the bleeder open it should go in pretty easily. if not, replace the caliper. and check the slide pins to make sure they slide easily. those you can usually clean up and regrease if they are rusty.
