the hood
hey my neon has a bulge on the hood why is that i see others with out it????

The power bulge is hood is mostly on DOHC engines to help clear the timing belt cover. SOHC engines don't require the bulge.
Although some SOHC neon's have the power bulge hood as an upgrade.

soo is it better to keep it or does it not matter cause i dont like it it looks tacky to me i want one without the bulge

If you have a DOHC engine and want to put a flat or SOHC hood on there you will have to cut some of the bracing on the underneath part of the hood to clear the timing cover.
It's up to you. I had a flat/SOHC hood on my old 99 DOHC.

ahh forget it im not keeping it that long anyway i might be selling it or trading it in for a srt4 and if i can find the srt4 acr even better
