frustrating diagnostic
I have a 2001.5 1.8t passat, 5 speed manual transmission. For the last month when ideling the the car stalls out. It feels exactly like it would if you were to actaully stall the car but I am in nutrual. When we would try to restart the car the EPC light would come on. After turing the car back off though it would go off. On monday the check engin light came on so we made an appoitment to take it in to the mechaninc. He ran the diagnostic and we got the code p0011. He resest it, took it for a 15 minute drive and nothing came back on. It also did nothing on the way to work (20 min drive).
We had the oil changed the same day the light came on (it was after though). July 2006 we had the same code come up after we had our 80,000 tune up done on it. All belts and water pump were changed at the time.
Anyone have anthing similar to this? It is frustrating that now there is no enging light we cant even find out what is wrong with the car.
