radio in lock mode
this is my first time here... hope I'm doing this right.
We just purchased a 1999 grand prix for our daughter, and the battery went dead, after we got a new battery the radio is in lock mode and we can't get it unlocked. The dealership wants to charge us $100 to get it on. Any ideas for me to unlock it myself? |

Welcome to AF.
We have some old posts in this forum and other AF GM forums which have the special procedure required to unlock the radio. Called Theftlock so do a search for Theftlock. Some work, some don't. Otherwise, you are stuck with having the dealer do it for you. See link below. Click here
