radio in lock mode
this is my first time here... hope I'm doing this right.
We just purchased a 1999 grand prix for our daughter, and the battery went dead, after we got a new battery the radio is in lock mode and we can't get it unlocked. The dealership wants to charge us $100 to get it on. Any ideas for me to unlock it myself?

Welcome to AF.
We have some old posts in this forum and other AF GM forums which have the special procedure required to unlock the radio. Called Theftlock so do a search for Theftlock. Some work, some don't. Otherwise, you are stuck with having the dealer do it for you. See link below. Click here
