99 ranger a/c only blowing through defroster
HELP my trucks a/c only blows from the defroster, but sometimes its ok. how to fix? any help will be appreciated.

Sounds like it is your mode door. Look for a vacuum hose cracked or off.

ok thanks for the input but, a lil more in depth on the mode door would be helpful, like how to find this and what it looks like thanks.

It is under the dash in the vent. About in the middle of the truck. It is a vacuum motor.

Before digging into the dash, you may want to closely look over the engine around the firewall. I have had this problem in more than one vehicle, and it was a vacuum hose that came disconnected. Good luck!
