noise plymouth grand vayager

sometimes I hear a whirring sound from within the van when i shut the car off and the doors lock or unlock what is that sound.

If it only lasts a second or two it may be a worn or weak door lock actuator. I've heard a similar sound off and on on my van for years.

i have the same sound, and it's coming out of my passenger door. The lock on that side is iffy when it will lock/unlock with the power locks, but I haven't taken the time to work on it, since it's not a BIG problem for me.
