Bronco II XLS 1985 168000 w/ rebuilt engine (68K)

I just repurchased this Bronco II from my sister. Her husband drove it 5 miles back and forth to work for 8 years. Aside from needing a deep cleaning, it had only a few problems. First I had the exhaust repaired and put on new tires.

I would now like to replace the badly worn seats and sun visors. My local junk yard has different year Bronco II's (e.g. 1984 thru 1988). My question is... can I replace the 1985 seats and visors with other model year parts? Will the bolt configurations match up between model years mentioned above? The passenger seat in my 1985, pops up with a lever. I noticed a 1988 (I think) where the seat slides forward and pops up. Would this also fit mine?

Any advise would be appreciated.

Thumbs up Re: Bronco II XLS 1985 168000 w/ rebuilt engine (68K)

The seats from any first or second generation bronco II or ranger will fit as well as seats from first gen explorers and the fox body mustang and escort gt
